With over 3000 members, the British Acupuncture Council (BAcC) is the UK’s largest regulatory body for practitioners of Traditional Acupuncture. A member of the BAcC has the letters MBAcC after their name and has undergone extensive training for a minimum of 3 years at degree level to include anatomy, physiology and other appropriate elements of Western Medicine. Each BAcC member must adhere to the Council’s Code of Safe Practice and Professional Conduct and must comply with current Health and Safety legislation. The BAcC requires each member to complete 30 hours of Continuous Professional Development (CPD) each year.

Sarah trained at this college which is located in Reading. It is one of the largest providers of acupuncture training in the UK.
Sarah trained with Paul Adkins who is the founder of Cosmetic Acupuncture UK which is based in Cornwall.
European Branch of the Toyohari Association
This association provides post graduate training in Toyohari.
Qigong Southwest run weekly classes, workshops and summer camps in Devon and within the South West area.
Tai Chi Nation offer Tai Chi and Qi Gong classes, courses, weekends and DVDs.

World Medicine is a registered UK charity providing complementary medicine to people around the world suffering the effects of trauma, disaster and poverty. In 2010 Sarah volunteered with this organisation on two visits to the Gaza Strip.
